This site sets no cookies of its own, does not profile you, and sells nothing to anyone. It collects some anonymous, aggregated statistics to see which content gets read -- that's it.
The one exception is the SoundCloud player on the Music page, which loads only if you click it. Details below.
The data controller is Matteo Versari, running this site in a personal capacity. For any question or request about this notice:
I use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless tool: it installs nothing in your browser and creates no identifier that follows you over time. It records, in aggregate, the page visited, where you came from, country, device type and browser.
The site runs on Vercel, which temporarily processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is how any web server works.
There are no contact forms on this site, only email addresses. If you write to me, I'll process what you send in order to reply, and your email will sit in my Gmail inbox.
The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. The language you pick is part of the page address (English pages start with /en/), so there's nothing to remember.
The Music page has a player with all the tracks. It does not load on its own: you see a panel instead, and until you click it no request goes to SoundCloud and none of your data leaves this site.
If you do load it, SoundCloud (SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Berlin) becomes an independent controller for what it does, and may set its own cookies in your browser -- including sc_anonymous_id (an anonymous identifier lasting several years) and datadome (bot protection). The click counts as consent; you can withdraw it by clearing cookies in your browser.
Their rules are here: SoundCloud privacy policy.
I don't share or sell data to anyone. It's handled only by the providers of the technical tools that keep the site running:
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union. Transfers rely on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
At any time you can ask me to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to processing, or receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). An email to the address above is enough -- I answer personally.
If you think something is wrong, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
If I change something on the site that affects this notice, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
